You do not need to prepare anything elaborate. There is no right or wrong way to arrive. These simple steps help you make the most of your time with Kristy — but the most important is the last one.

If you are coming for mediumship, it can help to spend a few quiet moments thinking of who you hope to connect with — not as a request, but as an invitation.

Find a quiet, private space
For online sessions, choose somewhere you won't be interrupted. Turn off notifications. Give yourself this hour entirely — you deserve it.

Have a glass of water nearby
Readings can be emotional and cathartic. Water supports you in staying grounded and present throughout the session.

Many clients like to take notes
Particularly specific names, dates, or details that come through. You may want to revisit them later.

Set an intention, not an expectation
Notice the difference: an intention is open ("I am here to receive whatever I need"). An expectation creates resistance. The more open you are, the more will come through.

Before you book

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my reading?
Simply come with an open mind and heart. You do not need to bring anything specific or prepare any questions — though you are welcome to. If you are coming for mediumship, spending a few quiet moments thinking of who you hope to connect with can help set a gentle intention. You will receive a preparation guide with your booking confirmation.
I live outside Australia. Can I still book a session?
Absolutely. All online sessions are held via Zoom and are available to clients anywhere in the world. Kristy has worked with clients across 12 countries. When booking, simply select an online session and your confirmation email will contain all the details for connecting from your timezone.
Should I choose a 30-minute or 60-minute session?
If this is your first session with Kristy, the 60-minute reading is recommended — it allows more time for Spirit to come through, more opportunity to ask questions, and a deeper, more integrated experience. The 30-minute session is ideal if you are returning for a focused follow-up or have a specific situation you'd like clarity on.
Will my session be recorded?
You are welcome to record your session on your own device for personal use — many clients find this helpful as they often receive more than they can absorb in the moment. Kristy does not make recordings on her end. Please note that recordings must be kept private and are not to be shared publicly.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
If you need to reschedule, please contact Kristy at least 48 hours before your session and an alternative time will be arranged. Cancellations within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be refunded or credited at Kristy's discretion. Full details are available in the Terms & Conditions.
I'm grieving. Is this the right time to book a mediumship reading?
There is no "right" time — grief does not follow a schedule. Kristy is trauma-aware and holds every session with deep compassion. Many clients book during acute grief and leave feeling lighter, more held, and with a renewed sense that their loved one is still close. If you are in early grief, please take care of yourself and reach out to Kristy if you have any questions before booking.
