Scientific Description:
Orange Selenite is a calcium sulfate mineral, a variety of the softer, fibrous gypsum family. Its warm orange hue comes from natural inclusions of hematite or other minerals during formation. Like white selenite, it often forms in long striated crystals or wands and has a silky, luminous glow. Due to its softness, Orange Selenite should be handled with care and never exposed to water.
